has dedicated his life to fighting for gun rights and honest sportsmen. He has practiced law for over 24 years and was one of the first attorneys to ever get a federal injunction against a state gun law. He knows first hand what rotten laws do to honest folks.

He founded the Law Firm of Evan F. Nappen Attorney at Law, P.C. in Eatontown, New Jersey which concentrates in the area of gun law matters, primarily dealing with:

He has authored a number of gun rights books, including THE NEW JERSEY GUN LAW GUIDE, NAPPEN II: NEW JERSEY GUN, KNIFE, and WEAPON LAW,  NAPPEN ON NEW JERSEY GUN LAW and THE DECLARATION, as well as numerous articles that have appeared in American Handgunner Magazine, Blue Book of Gun Values, NSSF Range Report, Tactical Gear Magazine, American Gunsmith Magazine, The New Gun Week, BLADE Magazine, Sporting Knives, Knives Annual, and Harper’s Magazine. He wrote and produced the DVD, GUN CONTROL – OUT OF CONTROL: How Gun Laws Make Honest Citizens Criminals. He has been quoted in numerous national newspapers and has been a guest on many television and radio shows, including Fox News - Judge Jeanine, Court TV, Real Talk – WWOR, It’s Your Call with Lynn Doyle, Tom Gresham’s Gun Talk, Al Kulas WKBK News and Talk and Cam & Company/NRA News.

LOUIS P. NAPPEN, ESQ., received his Juris Doctorate (JD) from Seton Hall University Law School. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar and United States Supreme Court Bar. He appears in courts all around New Jersey, has authored numerous winning appellate briefs, and has argued before the New Jersey Supreme Court.

Mr. Nappen received his Masters in Teaching (MAT) from Monmouth University, where he has taught Media Law as an adjunct for the Political Science Department. Before attending law school, Mr. Nappen taught high school English and Journalism.

Mr. Nappen received his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree (Magna Cum Laude) in Speech/Communications/Theatre with a Minor in Writing from Monmouth University. While at Monmouth, Mr. Nappen was Editor-in-Chief of both the college newspaper and literary magazine. Upon graduation he received the English Department’s Creative Writing Prize, the Communications Department Journalism Award, and the University’s Outstanding Student Award for “his contribution of lasting value to his fellow students and future of Monmouth.” Mr. Nappen is also a BSA Eagle Scout and Lifetime Member of the NRA.
